Self-propelled stair for medium-body aircraft
The self-propelled ladder TEMG TG2244 has been specially designed to carry out the loading/offloading of aircraft passengers; the vehicle’s threshold in the loading/offloading doors is a height above ground of between 2.20 m (86.6”) and 4.40 m (173.2”).
The ladder is a compact self-propelled vehicle comprising a frame with two flights of steps, one fixed and the other mobile, which slides telescopically over the fixed flight propelled by a hydraulic cylinder.
In the upper part of the mobile flight there is a platform with tip-up front to adapt it to the aircraft’s profile on the loading/offloading doors lower threshold.
On each side of the platform there is an ear which is automatically adjusted to fit over the sides of the aircraft’s door.
