Diesel ACU (air conditioning unit) for wide body aircraft
LEBRUN mobile preconditioned air units (PCA units) were specifically developed to fulfill the needs of aircraft manufacturers, handling companies, airlines and airports, in allowing them to maintain homogeneous temperatures inside airplanes, depending on their own climatic conditions and constraints.

Completely self-contained, thanks to their compact design, these preconditioned air units allow users to easily move them to their adequate location. Additionally, due to their extremely low noise level, they can either be used on the ramp, as well as in maintenance hangars.
Lebrun claims the LOWEST TCO ACU (Total Cost of Ownership) with the highest performance available on the market.
Superior efficiency and reliability of ACU is obtained using:
– UNIQUE SEMI-HERMETIC SCREW COMPRESSOR for higher performance than scroll compressor, larger functioning temperature range (compared to scroll/reciprocating compressor), and higher reliability (MTBF)
– HORIZONTAL POSITION CONDENSER avoiding Cooling Liquid stagnation in condensor (which happens in vertical position) for a higher RELIABILITY and PERFORMANCE
– INDEPENDENT CONDENSER (separated from the main body) WITH A HIGH POSTION AIR INLET allowing a better air exchange, fresh and clean air suction (at 2m height, the air is cooler and cleaner than at ground level)
– HEAT INSULATED ENGINE COMPARTMENT
– NO-FROST Evaporator thanks to a smart “anti-icing management”
– FULLY AUTOMATIC AIR FLOW CONTROL according to the characteristics of the aircrat type connected (no air flow selection). The unit automatically delivers the maximum acceptable air flow inside each aircrat type
